Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website zenaccountsltd.site and any engagement with Zen Accounts Ltd. By using this website, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
This website is operated by Zen Accounts Ltd, registered in Scotland, with its address at 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH2 4AN, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] or +48 794 085 391.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it. All content is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. Information provided
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and does not constitute a binding offer or professional advice. Any proposal or quotation is subject to a written agreement.
3a. We are not accountants
Although our registered name contains the word “Accounts”, Zen Accounts Ltd is not an accountancy practice. We do not prepare or submit statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, self assessment returns, VAT returns, payroll filings or management accounts; we are not registered auditors and do not carry out audit of any kind; and we do not provide tax, accountancy, audit, financial, investment, insolvency or legal advice. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Any invoicing work we carry out is clerical and is performed on the client’s instructions, in the client’s systems and from figures the client supplies; the client remains responsible for its own books, filings, deadlines and statutory obligations.
We are also not a company formation agent and not a trust or company service provider. We do not form companies or other legal persons, we do not act as or arrange for another person to act as a director, secretary, partner, trustee or nominee shareholder, and we do not provide a registered office, business address, correspondence address, accommodation address or mail-forwarding service. We are not an employment agency or employment business and do not supply or introduce workers. Where a matter requires a regulated, licensed or professionally qualified person, we will say so and decline the work.
3b. Engagements, access and data
Scope, deliverables, rhythm and fees are agreed in writing before work begins, and work outside that scope is quoted separately. We act on the client’s instructions and within the access the client grants; we do not make decisions that are properly the client’s, and we do not enter into commitments or sign anything in the client’s name except where expressly authorised in writing. The client remains responsible for the accuracy of the information it supplies, for its own filings and deadlines, and for its own backups. Where we process personal data on a client’s behalf we do so as processor under a separate written agreement and on the client’s documented instructions; the client remains the data controller. Access granted to us is limited to what the agreed work requires and is closed on completion, and records are returned at the end of an engagement. Nothing on this website is advice for your particular situation.
4. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with this website is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your visit applies.
