Dealing with the name, then the work

Zen Accounts Ltd is registered for combined office administrative service activities (SIC 82110) and is registered at South Charlotte Street in Edinburgh.

The name needs addressing before anything else. “Accounts” appears in it, and people will assume accountancy. We are not an accountancy practice. We do not prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax or self assessment returns, VAT returns or management accounts, we are not registered auditors, and we do not give tax, accountancy or financial advice. Our registered activity is office administration, which is a different trade entirely.

What we actually do is run the administrative side of an office that is not ours: correspondence, records and filing, diaries, suppliers, document handling, and the clerical side of invoicing - raising and sending what you tell us to, in your systems, from your figures.

We are also not a company formation agent or a trust or company service provider. We do not form companies, we do not act as or arrange directors, secretaries or nominee shareholders, and we do not provide registered office, business address, correspondence address or mail-forwarding services. Those activities require supervision under the money laundering regulations, which we do not hold out as having.

Zen Accounts Ltd is registered in Scotland, and our terms are governed by the law of Scotland and the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
